1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions.
2. Entry is open to New Zealand permanent residents over the age of 18 years. Employees and immediate families of Air New Zealand, New Zealand Cup and Show Week, and the Christchurch City Council and their agencies associated with the Promotion are not eligible to enter.
3. HOW TO ENTER: To enter "SHOUT MY MATE" promotion, entrants must visit www.nzcupandshow.co.nz and enter with their name, address and contact phone number and their nominee’s name, address and contact phone number as well as the reason for nominating in the correct fields.
4. DATES: "SHOUT MY MATE" competition opens 25 September 2011 and closes 12pm 21 October 2011. Entries must be received by this time to be eligible.
5. The Prize Draw will take place at the offices of the Christchurch City Council, 53 Hereford Street, Christchurch 8011, the week of 24 October, 2011. The Prize Winner will be the first eligible entry drawn. Entrants may enter as many times as they wish, provided that each entry is contained in a separate online entry and complies with these terms and conditions.
6. The Promoter takes no responsibility for lost, damaged, misdirected, late, illegible or incomplete entries.
7. All entries will become the property of the Promoter.
8. PRIZES: There are four Major Prizes to be won (SHOUT MY MATE). And the chance to win the Grand Prize (GRAND PRIZE LAS VEGAS).

9. The winning four NOMINATED groups of SHOUT MY MATE automatically go into the draw for a chance to win the GRAND PRIZE. To be in to win the Grand Prize the entrant must be present at the Christchurch Casino New Zealand Cup at Riccarton Racecourse (Saturday 12 November 2010) for the live prize draw.
10. Travel for the NOMINATOR winners of the SHOUT MY MATE promotion must be taken on allocated flights on November 11 and November 13, 2011. Prize is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. Unused portions cannot be redeemed for cash. All meals and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), including room service, are excluded from this offer, other than those indicated. All incidental charges/expenses, which include, but are not limited to: telephone calls/faxes (domestic or international), taxes/levies, gratuities/service charges etc, as applicable, are payable by the winner. Christchurch City Council and travel providers will not be liable for any loss or damage that is suffered (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury sustained as a result of taking the prize. The offer is available to all New Zealand residents.
11. Costs not covered include spending money, additional activities, and travel over and above the aforementioned "Prize" and are at the expense of the Winner. The Prize is not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
12. Air New Zealand, New Zealand Cup and Show Week, and the Christchurch City Council shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury sustained as a result of taking the prize.
13. WINNER NOTIFICATION: The Winner will be contacted by the telephone number or email address provided within five days following the draw. If after five days the winner cannot be contacted the prize will be redrawn.
14. The Promoter collects and holds personal information provided with each entry only to notify the Winners and to verify the eligibility and identity of the Winners.
15. Pursuant to the Privacy Act 1993, entrants have the right to access and correct any personal information. Once the Prizes have been claimed, the Promoter will delete all entries.
16. The Promoter and its associated agencies & companies shall not be liable in any way (including, without limitation, in negligence) for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss) or for any loss or damage or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with "SHOUT MY MATE” promotion except any liability that cannot be excluded by law. All decisions re prize draws are full and final, and at the discretion of the Promoter. No correspondence will be entered into.
17. The Promoter and associated agencies to will collect the entrants name, age, address and email address to enable the Promoter to administer the promotion. By entering this promotion you agree that the Promoters may use the aggregate information collected from entries only for related research and marketing purposes. Winners in this competition agree that their identity may be disclosed in winner announcements and promotional material.
18. The Promoter is not liable for any tax implications that may arise as a result of winning the Prizes.
19. The Promoter's decision regarding the Winners is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
