It’s all on for a World Record…
In case you haven’t heard – an exciting Guinness World Record attempt at leap frog will take place during this year’s Canterbury A&P Show in the main arena at 12:45pm on Thursday 11 November.
Any Year Four to Eight student from Christchurch can give it a go. If you know a school, sporting or community group that wants to be part of something massive – then register them for some leap frog action by phoning the Show Office on 03 343 2867.

If you’re kicking off the week at the New Zealand 2000 Guineas $1 Million Magic on Saturday 6 November, why not grab one of the Grand National Lawn Car Parks? Once you’ve purchased your entrance tickets, buy a car park for $100 and you’ll reserve a premium spot with magnificent views of the track action and big screen. Classy racegoers attending Christchurch Casino NZ Trotting Cup Day at Addington on Tuesday 9 November know the Lindauer Lawn is the place to be. Need some help with your Cup Day outfit? Then don’t miss the last of the racewear styling workshops at Ballantynes. This week is all about finding your perfect hat, handbag and heels and next week looks at how to stand out in a crowd - a must attend workshop for all ladies entering the Cup Day fashion competitions.
