Pack the kids in the car, grab a picnic and head to Addington Raceway for this family-focused Harness Racing meeting. As well as free rides and face painting, the first 500 children through the gates get a goody bag full of treats. Held on Canterbury Anniversary Day and with great food, entertainment and live music – there’s no better place to take the family during New Zealand Cup and Show Week.
Punters will witness the best harness horses from New Zealand and Australia strut their stuff once again in the feature events of the day, the Hellers Dominion and the Woodlands NZ Free For All. Serious punters and racing enthusiasts can enter the Speights Cup Week Punter's Challenge and be in to win $5000.
