Canterbury Racing's thrilling three-day Spring carnival during New Zealand Cup and Show Week is renowned for its high stakes and vibrant atmosphere of fashion, partying and glamour.

The action kicks off with $1 Million Magic NZ 2000 Guineas Day which sees Australasia's best three-year-olds competing in the main race of the day, the New Zealand 2000 Guineas.
Group1 racing is the very highest level of thoroughbred racing, attracting the best horses and highest prize money. Guineas races around the world carry enormous kudos, and the $1 Million Magic NZ 2000 Guineas Day is no exception.
